The business of Franklin is run by an elected Village Board of Trustees, or Council. The volunteer Council includes a president and six trustees elected to four year terms. Council meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM held in the Franklin Village Office, 32325 Franklin Road.

The Village Council also serves as the Waste Water Management Board, officially approving additions to the Village’s Pressurized Sewer System. Their meetings (if necessary) are held immediately preceding the Village Council Regular Meetings held in January and August each year.
