The Franklin Community Association (FCA) is a non-profit, non-political, opt-in independent organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for Franklin residents and connect villagers, neighbors, and local businesses through parks and recreation, community  events, and social gatherings.

Key events sponsored by the FCA include the Labor Day Round Up, a weekly Farmers' Market, Taste of Spring strolling wine and dinner event, and Movies on the Green outdoor movie screenings in late summer. Spring of 2021, the FCA added a weekly Food Truck Series, running through October 2021. 

The FCA owns and maintains a large section of the open space to the south of the Franklin Community Church. This area includes baseball fields, tennis courts, park area, a walking path and a gazebo.
